Alpine pastures rich in herbs Hike across the meadows and forests to experience the power of herbs - or you can go out and explore our herb garden. Herbs play a major role in our cuisine. We grow about 50 types of herbs in summer, and we gather wild mountain herbs from the surrounding alpine pastures. At high altitudes herbs grow more slowly than in the valley, but they have a more intensive flavor and aroma.
Intensive aromas We sprinkle some of our soups with alpine chives, we put southernwood into game, we use watercress as accompaniment to a trout and forest clover as addition to the tossed salad. Herbs are the key to a modern, wholesome and tasty cuisine. |
